WHO WE ARE

OreSort Solutions is a specialised ore sorting company seeking to apply modern ore sorting technology to unlock the value in low grade mine stockpiles and perceived sub-economic mineral resources.

The company's key personnel are Dr Tony Parry, a PhD metallurgist with extensive experience in ore sorting technology and a background in financial markets, equity research and advisory; and Mr John Wilson, a qualified mining engineer and MBA with an extensive background in financial markets, equity research and advisory.
 

WHAT WE DO

Ore sorting is the beneficiation of mined ore through rejection of waste at a relatively coarse crush size (typically 10-100mm range).

Ore sorters use a range of scanners to differentiate between waste and ore and achieve pneumatic rejection of the individual waste rocks.  Due to advances in scanning and computing technology, single stream ore sorters can now achieve throughputs in excess of 100tph with highly efficient rejection of waste and upgrade of ore.

Commercial Solutions

We partner with owners of, or acquire, low grade stockpiles to process, upgrade resources and monetise. Our services are delivered on a turnkey basis from assessment to revenue generation. No charge initial desktop assessment. If positive, this is followed by small scale “sighter”test work to determine which sensors provide the best ore: waste differentiation (also at no charge).

Contractual Arrangements

OreSort Solutions tailors commercial solutions that best meet each owner's individual circumstances.

Farm-In and Joint Venture

We enter into farm-in or joint venture arrangements with you to advance and develop the project or treat stockpile/s and deliver upgraded ore to a plant.

Toll Treatment

We provide, mobilise and operate ore sorting equipment on a toll treatment basis onsite adjacent to your stockpile/s and deliver upgraded ore to your plant or a third party site.

Acquisition

We acquire ownership of the project or stockpile/s.  

Metallurgy

Experienced metallurgical expertise. Sample collection, supervision of testwork and flowsheet design.

• Small scale sample collection and preliminary lab based ore sorting testwork (at no charge to owner).
• Bulk ore sample collection and lab based ore sorting testwork.
• Development of ore sorting flowsheet.
   

Financing

Experienced financing expertise. Development of financial models and capital raising.

• Financial model development and analysis incorporating operating parameters, operating costs and capital assumptions to assess to forecast profitability and ROI.
• Financial model sensitivity analysis to assess variable and project financial robustness.
• Arrange finance through our extensive network of financiers, brokers and investors.

Operation

Experienced operating expertise. Contract ore sorting.
